“The Bard” was recently in Winnipeg for a brief visit following a tour with my boss, singer/songwriter Steve Bell. They completed their tour with an evening with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra – a most memorable time.

UK poet Malcolm Guite spent part of a day in our office at Signpost Music, and I was able to take some photos of him, and have him autograph some of our books, Seven Whole Days.

After Christmas and with a little time on my hands, I followed through with painting “The Bard”, which is inspired by a photo taken by Daniel Melvill Jones. It seems impossible to stop painting this charismatic face!
