I am on a lifelong search for the truth and reasons for living, so my paintings often reflect this. These seven paintings were inspired by a Bible study at my church.
I Am the Light of the World. Christ fulfills every symbol of light. Instead of following a pillar of light, we follow Him. Light removes darkness.
I Am the True Vine. We are the branches connected to the True Vine. Through time we are pruned, abide, and bear fruit.
I Am the Good Shepherd. God may want to change us before he changes our circumstances. He is the Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep.
I Am the Bread of Life. You can come to Jesus for bread, but he is the living bread. He is the grain offering from God in our stead.
I Am the Resurrection and the Life. God’s purpose is always good, since he spoke the world into existence. Jesus’ words bring life.
I Am the Gate. It is dangerous when we think that God is silent in our situation. He is the gate that keeps the enemy from entering me.
I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life. Trust in God – he is at work even when we don’t see it. Truth may seem restricting in reality, but it is rather protecting us. Focus on the promises instead of the problems.
